I created a concept map that explains my thinking when it comes to how trustworthy a social media post is. The boxes I created included looking at if the post is making a promotion, if it is AI, if the person is credible, if there is a community note posted, and how popular the post is. First I mean credibility by who is actually giving this information. Does the person have some sort of certification from a topic or experience? If not these people are without credibility. Next, promotions have taken of the internet. People want money and they will spread half truths in order to make their product look good. I never trust any promotion or ad posts on social media. (at least without looking up the information first) Also, looking to see if the post is ai generated is a usually a good start. As my concept map says looking for that realism in the content of the post and would it be reasonable? Looking to see how popular a post is can also be important. As I displayed on my concept ma...

A case study could include a teacher using AI to grade papers but not looking at the grades before posting them. I think you could use AI to grade students work, however, the teacher should always review AI for unfair grading or wrong grading. AI is not above making mistakes and grading harshly. I believe it is also the responsibility of the teacher to protect students private information. This is ethical becaaue it saves time while making sure students information is safe and they are treated fairly.

I visited the to look at its faculty pages. The pages show teachers’ names, pictures, email addresses, and office locations. This information helps students and parents contact teachers when they need help. Other information, such as grades and assignments, may require students to log in. https://directory.cci.fsu.edu/jung-hoon-baeg/  I envision using technology to make my teaching responsibilities easier and more organized. I will use Google Classroom to share assignments, communicate with students, and track their progress. I will also use Canva to create engaging lessons and Google Docs to prepare lesson plans and worksheets. These tools will help me save time, stay organized, and make learning more effective for my students. I think AI can effectively  evaluate a lesson plan with the intended length it should go. I saw that AI helped me plan out each individual minutes with things to cover. I think human intervention should be applied in certain areas such as ensuring fact...

I chose a Florida Computer Science standard that focuses on using technology to solve problems. This standard encourages students to use digital tools and develop their technology skills. I feel somewhat prepared to teach this standard because I am comfortable using technology. However, I would need more practice teaching these skills to younger students. I chose the lesson plans available in the CPALMS Educator Toolkit for fourth-grade students. These resources help teachers plan activities that match Florida's educational standards. I could use these lesson plans to make learning more interactive and engaging for my students. I think these resources would help me become more organized and confident as a teacher. I learned many things when going to the tech sandbox including how to program sounds through Legos. I along with Ryland were able to create spaceship sounds for a star wars themed Lego set. I could envision myself visiting the VR sets once again. I had a lot of fun with ...

I have enjoyed blogging for the most part. I enjoy that it isn't overbearing to do and that I can express my opinion on the topics we cover weekly in class. One problem I have with it is that their is a required four sentences that makes me think I need to write more than I do. I think simply answering the questions should be the criteria so I'm not just conversing extra information that might not be that important or how a feel. I have learned how to operate this site as I hadn't ever used blogger before this. AI can be used for efficiency and learning, or it can be used for disruption and cheating. AI is a funny thing because when exposing it to learning developmental stages (K-12) it can be harmful for creativity and growth in learning or it can be the ultimate hack. On one hand kids can use AI to get out of having to work hard. On the other hand kids can use it to boost their knowledge in areas that would be far more efficient than no AI. Using generative AI for lesson...

Growing up, I mostly used Instagram as my social media platform. I interacted with friends, classmates, and people who shared my interests. Instagram helped me stay connected and discover new ideas and information. In my future career, I could use social media to connect with other teachers and find classroom ideas and resources. I went to a digitally rich private school that gave students their own computers. We also had access to many online tools for learning and completing assignments. This experience helped prepare me for the technology I use in college today. I think my school could have taught us more about using technology for creativity and collaboration and also maybe some more websites that helped you with sourcing.   In my future classroom, I would like to use Google Docs for group writing projects. Students could work together and make changes to the same document. I could use it for assignments where students share ideas and give each other feedback. Before...

As a teacher you have a difficult time dealing with copyright and fair use issues when it comes to learning and your students. If I were a teacher I would be careful on teaching my students what to do with information and material they get online. I know when I was in middle school I accidentally plagiarized some information I got on a scholarly source. It ended up being a valuable learning lesson which I was able to grow off of.  Using technology in the classrooms can have both positives and negatives. A negative, for example, would be academic dishonesty. The internet is an unlimited world of knowledge and almost any question might have can be answered almost instantly. With this information it is easy to plagiarize and have academic distention so teachers must be extremely careful in reminding students to be careful with the information they find and what they do with it.  I acquired many skills while making my newsletter during the assignment that can be beneficial t...
